William “Billy T” Swimley, Jr., age 72, of Winchester, Virginia passed away on Monday, February 1, 2021 at his residence.
William was born August 26, 1948 in Winchester, Virginia, the son of the late William T. Swimley Sr. and Catherine D. (Duvall) Swimley. He was a graduate of Handley High School and was a veteran of the Air National Guard attaining the rank of Sergeant. William was self employed as a property manager for WAA Apartments. He was a member of Burnt Factory United Methodist Church where he sang in the choir and served on many church committees. He loved his church family as his own.
William married Susan Clevenger on July 4, 1971 in Winchester, Virginia.
Along with his wife, Susan, he is survived by a daughter, Christie Swimley Jensen (Clint); a son, William T. Swimley, III (Kristen); three grandchildren, Sierra Jensen, Ella Swimley, and William T. Swimley, IV; brother, Gerald S. Swimley; and his nephew, Noah S. Swimley.
In addition to his parents, William was preceded in death by his sister-in-law, Donna Swimley.
